Carers & Companions is a boutique agency where we provide in-home personal care for Clients so they can live independently with a little help from us.

Our Male Client has High Level Dementia and requires constant attention.

We have a vacancy for an experienced Carer to provide 3 hours of care which will consist of; companionship, walking, talking, reading, keeping him occupied and stimulated as dinner is being prepared by Family. One day a week for three hours to commence immediately.

The Carer must be reliable and commit to this shift on an ongoing basis.

Carers Duties may include:

• Companionship, walking, talking, reading, keeping him occupied and stimulated as dinner is being prepared by Family
• Help with feeding Client
• Help prepare Client for bed
• Light housekeeping
• Carer must be able to follow instructions from Wife

Carer’s requirements:

• Minimum five years + experience in Aged Care OR
• Cert III in Aged Care/Cert III in Individual Support OR Similar Qualifications
• Dementia Training and Experience
• A current Police Background check (less than 6 months old) or willing to obtain one for $54
• Current CPR Certificate / Current First Aid
• Excellent verbal and written English skills
• Australian residents only
